Rangler Stuckey
Sustainable Roots Landscape Co. was founded by Rangler, a Wyoming native with a deep respect for the land and a lifelong appreciation for hard work, good design, and community. After years in the construction industry and time spent on ranches and job sites across the West, Rangler brought his knowledge - and his values - to Denver with one goal: to build sustainable outdoor spaces that make people feel at home.
What started as a solo operation has grown into a trusted landscaping team known across the greater Denver area for craftsmanship, creativity, and care. Over the last seven years, Rangler has expanded his team and completed more than 100 projects, all with the same guiding principles: honor the land, listen to the customer, and get every detail right. If you’re lucky, you might get a visit from Jerry, Rangler’s loyal dog and unofficial job site supervisor. Equal parts napper and morale booster, Jerry’s been part of the crew since day one—and clients love him almost as much as we do.

Johnny Jimenez
Since 2011, Johnny Jimenez has built a career rooted in the green industry, combining hands-on experience with a deep passion for outdoor spaces. Johnny leads with a focus on quality, sustainability, and strong client relationships. He oversees day-to-day operations for his commercial accounts, making sure each property reflects high standards and long-term care. Johnny takes great pride in mentoring his team and believes that excellent results start with well-trained crews who take ownership and pride in their work.
He values staying ahead in the industry, which is why he actively collaborates with vendors to explore new products and solutions that benefit his clients. His journey began with a simple moment—mowing and striping a field—and turned into a lifelong appreciation for turf design and the smell of fresh-cut grass. Outside of work, Johnny enjoys life in the great outdoors with his wife and two kids, whether it’s fly fishing, hunting big game, or cooking up Santa Maria-style BBQ over California Red Oak.

William Hartill
Bringing a blend of expertise and passion to Sustainable Roots, William oversees all facets of the maintenance department with dedication and precision. With 7 years in the green industry, William's journey is underscored by his commitment to delivering exceptional service and fostering client satisfaction.He leads a wide-ranging number of initiatives for Sustainable Roots, from collaborating with fellow account managers to ensure top-tier client service to spearheading training initiatives and maintaining rigorous safety protocols.
Armed with a Bachelor's Degree in Forestry and a minor in Environmental Sustainability from Michigan State University, William is also certified in Sustainable Landscape Management, has his QS License, and is a certified Master Gardener, bringing a deep understanding of ecological balance to his work. Beyond his professional endeavors, William finds solace in nature through hiking and exploring mountain towns. An avid reader, he enjoys immersing himself in literature, while quality time with his family and dogs completes his well-rounded lifestyle.
